Langham Homes Donates to Make a Local Difference

15 December 2020

This year has certainly been a very challenging one for many people but as it is almost time to bid it farewell, Windsor-based developer Langham Homes is celebrating Christmas and the arrival of 2021 by giving something back to people in need in the local community.  This Christmas it is aiming to make a real difference locally by donating to Foodshare, a charity that provides food for local people in and around Maidenhead, Windsor and Burnham, and to the NHS Charities Together Covid-19 Appeal.

Foodshare’s focus is to provide nutritious food including fresh food, fruit and vegetables and provide a minimum of three days of food to those who need it in their areas of operation. Manned entirely by volunteers, this charity not only runs a busy Foodbank with food collected from Supermarkets but also offers hot and cold community meals cooked by them for local homeless people.  NHS Charities Together provides essential support for the UK’s amazing NHS staff and volunteers through the distribution of well-being packs to primarily support their mental health.

Tony K. Pidgley, Managing Director of Langham Homes says: “In light of the unprecedented challenges that the pandemic has sent our way this year, we felt it was important to give something back especially at this festive time of year. The spirit of giving to support others is the most rewarding gesture we can make, and we hope that our combined donations will enable a number of local families and individuals to have a more enjoyable Christmas and New Year”.
